Gary Walton

Counsellor and Psychotherapist

I offer an environment where we can work collaboratively to develop self-awareness and understanding. This can lead to a more fulfilling and meaningful experience of day-to-day life.

I'm a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist based in Bushey, Hertfordshire and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I'm the Co-ordinator for the Reveley Lodge Trust, and responsible for the use of Reveley Lodge and its surrounding gardens in the service of individual health and well-being.

I have many years of experience working as a Staff Counsellor at Highgate Counselling Centre.

Is now the right time to speak with a counsellor?

Are you feeling "stuck" and unsure how to move forward with your life?

Do you have enough life experience to recognise some of your patterns of behaviour are unhealthy, but are unsure how to change them?

Or are you concerned about the impact of these behaviours, not only on yourself, but also on the relationships in your life?

Are you the family member or friend of someone you feel may benefit from seeing a male counsellor?

I run a private practice in Bushey, Hertfordshire, where through collaboration we can explore what is troubling you and look to alleviate the symptoms that have brought you to counselling. Moving forward I would look to assist you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself and create an environment that inspires you to be curious, to explore and to develop at a pace that feels comfortable.

Counselling can help

Taking the first step to seek counselling can be daunting and intimidating. You may be worried about not knowing what to expect and feeling like it may not make an impression on you.

If you're unsure whether counselling is for you or whether psychotherapy is the right path, please get in touch and I will be happy to help answer your questions and guide you through the process before you decide.
